Alta Mira Specialized Family Services Inc. ~Since 1985~

Alta Mira Specialized Family Services Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was incorporated in 1985 following the consolidation of two predecessor agencies:  Albuquerque Special Preschool and Esperanza Para Nuestros Ninos. Both Albuquerque Special Preschool and Esperanza Para Nuestros were founded in 1968 by parents of children with developmental risks, delays and disabilities, to develop quality services within the community.

Since 1985, Alta Mira has continued the work of these organizations. As the knowledge base for supporting families has changed over the years, so has Alta Mira. We have maintained the core values on which we were founded: client care and respect for families as experts.

Alta Mira Family Services Inc. provides Early Childhood Services including Early Intervention (EI) for children ages birth to 3 years of age, Parenting programs including Parenting Classes, Family Support Services (FSS) including Family Living, and Respite Care including our Respite Home located in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Donating supports Alta Mira Specialized Family Services Inc.  We work closely with individuals and their families to help them strengthen basic life skills, achieve their goals, and reach their full potential. Our agency serves participants in central New Mexico with lifespan services, touching the lives of approximately 1,000 children and adults annually.

Donate today!  Making a one-time or monthly, recurring donation goes to support Alta Mira and programs including Early Intervention.
